May Mayhem

MayMay is often known as the in-between month of the year—meaning the snow and ice has finally disappeared, but you’re not going to see too many bathing suits just yet! The grass is becoming greener every day, and we’re starting to see many of our wild plants begin to bloom … you know, the April showers bring May flowers thing!

Sports fans are buckling their Lazy-Boy seat belts as they prepare for the 135th running of the Kentucky Derby on May 2nd and the 93rd Indy 500 race on the 24th … the day before celebrating Memorial Day. That’ll be a busy weekend!

This May we get to celebrate another postage increase on the 11th as the First-Class Mail stamp will increase to 44¢.
